How to install Krooz TV on a Firestick
The Firestick is the most popular way to watch KroozTV, and the setup takes about ten minutes the first time. You allow one app from outside the Amazon store, use it to install an IPTV player, then type in your Krooz TV login.
Before you start
- A Fire TV Stick (any model from the 2nd generation on), Fire TV Cube or Fire TV-powered television.
- Your KroozTV line. New customers can start with the starter plan.
- Ten minutes and the remote. A phone nearby helps if you want to use the Fire TV app as a keyboard.
Install KroozTV on Firestick, step by step
Install Downloader
From the Fire TV home screen, open Find → Search, type Downloader and install the orange app by AFTVnews. It is free and in the Amazon Appstore.
Turn on Developer options
Go to Settings → My Fire TV. If you don’t see Developer options, open About and press the select button on your device name seven times until a message says you are a developer.
Allow Downloader to install apps
Settings → My Fire TV → Developer options → Install unknown apps → switch Downloader to On. This only allows that one app.
Install the player
Open Downloader and enter the player link we send with your line (we keep it current, so it never points at an old version). Install, then choose Delete on the installer file to save space.
Add your KroozTV login
Open the player, choose "Add playlist" or "Login with Xtream Codes API", and enter the server URL, username and password from our message. The channels and guide load within a minute or two.
Which player we recommend on Firestick
| Player | Good for | Cost |
|---|---|---|
| TiviMate | Best guide, recording, multi-view | Free basic; premium is a yearly fee to the developer |
| IPTV Smarters Pro | Simple menus, films and series browsing | Free |
| XCIPTV | Older Firestick models, light on memory | Free |
If you are not sure, start with IPTV Smarters. It looks the most like a normal TV menu. Move to TiviMate later if you want its guide; your KroozTV login works in both.
Firestick tips that prevent most problems
- Restart weekly. Hold Select and Play together for five seconds. Firesticks have little memory and slow down after days of use.
- Use the HDMI extender. The short cable in the box moves the stick away from the TV’s metal back panel and improves Wi-Fi noticeably.
- Watch the storage. Settings → My Fire TV → About → Storage. Under 500 MB free, playback stutters. Uninstall what you don’t use.
- Turn off data monitoring. Settings → Preferences → Data Monitoring → Off. It can quietly lower video quality.
Still buffering after all that? The Krooz TV not working guide has a section just for Firestick.
The three details every player asks for
| Field in the player | What to enter | Common mistake |
|---|---|---|
| Name / playlist name | Anything, e.g. "KroozTV" | None; it is only a label |
| Server / URL / host | The full URL from our message, with http:// and the port | Dropping the :port at the end |
| Username | Exactly as sent | Auto-capitalised first letter on phones |
| Password | Exactly as sent | A trailing space copied from WhatsApp |
Answers
Questions people ask
Is there a Krooz TV app in the Amazon Appstore?
No. KroozTV works through general IPTV players. Some are in the Appstore, others install through Downloader as shown above.
Does Krooz TV work on the Firestick Lite?
Yes, though the Lite has less memory. Use a lighter player like XCIPTV or IPTV Smarters and restart it regularly.
Is it safe to turn on "Install unknown apps"?
It is safe as long as you only install apps from links you trust. Allow it only for Downloader, and only install the player link we send you.
Can I use one KroozTV line on two Firesticks?
Yes, if your plan has two or more screens. With a one-screen plan, the second stick will stop when the first one is playing.
